Service Description: This map service represents the 1st Quarter 2020 State Maintained Roads generated from NCDOT's Esri Roads and Highways system. To improve performance of the map service, three layers are included in the service set to draw and different scales:
State Maintained Roads: All roads are drawn when zoomed in to 1:200,000 or less.
State Maintained Roads – Primary Routes: Only interstates, US Routes, and NC Routes are drawn at a scale between 1:200,001 and 1:1,000,000.
State Maintained Roads – Interstates: Only interstates are drawn beyond 1:1,000,001 (Geoservice Date: 9/28/2020)
